17 May - Day 29 Turin, Nice

The day we drove to Turino with the bambinos to have a cappucino with cousin Banny-bino
 Farewell Cinque Terre :-(

If they won't let me play on the iPod I might as well just sleep

We had fun watching the birds bathe in the fountains of Piazza Costello as we waited for Banny to arrive

This pigeon was having a ball!

BCB (big cousin Banny) and LCs Elena and Seamus

Looking back to Piazza Costello from the place we had lunch on Garibaldi

Elena and I thought Torino had some pretty cool shops and cafes

 LCS, RBCJ, BCB, LCE

Elena and her menu

 Walking to the tram stop

We said our farewells on the tram. Bon voyage Banstar!

Cool stone carving on way back to the car

They take the 150th celebrations pretty seriously - right across town flags were flying and there was loads of red and green to be seen

 Farewell Torino and farewell Ferrero

The Maritime Alps stood between us and Nice

 But after lots of these...

... and lots of corner and high bridges

We found our way to the sea again

(and some very large barber's poles!)
