Its been a long time between blogs! Too much fun, too little time (and too little wifi).
We spent the morning of day 2 Tuscany lounging around beautiful Agrifuturismo again and had a lovely lunch at home base before setting off to explore some towns to the NE.
The view west from Radda
The chickens of Radda
The town square of Radda
The groovy fountain of Radda
Soke cool lions on the church of Radda
Proof that we were in Radda mid afternoon
Greg's favourite bit of wall in Radda (he's determined to build something out of stone in the backyard when we return!)
The colourful washing of Radda
... and some purple flowers in Radda
A frog on the grog (and a pi#&ed-off cat) in San Sano
Pascal the Peugeot parked under the colourful solar carpark shade structre at the terrific sculpture park near San Sano
Family photo at the sculpture park
The gals
The men
Peeping through the keyhole one way...
...and the other
Time to think about things
...and then play leap frog
Feeling a little melancholy
...feeling a bit blue
Time for some self analysis
Where's the giant blackboard?
Alas... no gold at the end of the sculpture park rainbow but plenty of golden holiday time to come!
Back to Agrifuturismo for an evening walk and deer hunt: 1. along the road
2. round the bend (on tip toes as we hunt for deer)
3. up the hill
4. and down again
Sunsetting behind Agrifuturismo as we walked down the hill
Yes, we found some deer! Look very closely.
Hills glowing behind deer field
Elena basking in the setting sun
More lovely sunsets over olives
...and to the east
Chef at work by lamplight (so sad to be leaving this lovely little home - heaven on earth!)
