Woh ohhh...Half way there...

Up at 6 am this morning in Canberra (after late night doing final house dismantle/pack and thennn holiday pack)... its now 10 pm in Singapore (ie midnight) which means we are pretty much half way to arrival in Paris at 7.20 am (ie. 2.20 pm Tue - I think... not very clearly right now though).
I'm feeling very liberated having left the mobile plugged in, on silent, with a polite and professional 'bugger off and leave me alone for 6 weeks' voice mail message. Just did the auto email response - not soon enough... 2 jobs came in today (I've broken the bad news to them and am coping just fine!).
Kids played games and watched movies non-stop on the first 8 hour leg and have now crashed in the departure lounge. Fingers crossed we get a decent sleep on the next leg of the journey cos tomorrow we're climbing the tower (Eiffel not Black Mountain, that is). Ooroo mes amis :-)
